1.Reviewing prior knowledge:
1)Previous music theories (clefs, nots, bars, rests) 
2)Movements of single note
2.Introduce intervals (two notes play together)	

1. Colour of each interval
1)Play couple of melodies to assist students memorise and understand broken-interval (play 2 notes separately)

(ask students to feel two notes distance)

2)based on movement of single note, encourage students hum each of note and enlighten students to feel and identify the distance of 2 notes.

3)introduce common interval (two notes play together): structure (1st. 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th 8th (octaves) intervals)

4) introduce common interval: colour of sound 
       Level 1: Uncomfortable: 2nd 7th
       Level 2: Comfortable: 3rd 6th
       Level 3: Perfect: 1st 4th 5th 8th 

2.Aural testing
Group activity: 4 students as a group to work together and compete with other groups
1)Play twice a broken interval (eg. C-E), ask students find out the distance of those 2 notes
2)Play twice a common interval (eg.C-E), ask students firstly find out what level will be , then singing out, finally  depending on the distance of 2 notes justify what interval will be 
Eg:  C-E
1)Feel that it is level 2-comfrotable
2)Hum out that it is short distance-3rd
